Singapore Sling
The singapore Sling was invented at the famous Raffles Hotel by Ngiam Tong Boon. This recipe is my favourite mix, which I got from the Savoy Recipe Book, printed in the 1930's. The are many other recipes for Singapore Sling, which many can be found on the web.

This makes a great savoury sorbet to be served at any part of a meal. I like my Bloody Mary very spicy so add a little tabasco but if you want a milder version just leave the tabasco out.

Pineapple Refreshers
Pineapple makes delicious drinks that take very little effort to prepare. Both these drinks are of the non alcoholic variety but by simply adding a little good quality dark or white rum to them you have yourself a tasty intoxicating creation.

Classic Bloody Mary
One of our favorite pre-dinner drinks, especially in Summer. As one of our friends says, with all those tomatoes, it should be 'one of your five a day'. Well, we're not sure whether we agree with him, but they are very easy to make and very tasty.

This is my favourite cocktail of all times to drink and serve, it is true decadence. All it requires is quality ingredients to be a success, of course it works just as well with a quality Australian sparkling as champagne.

Thyme Limoncello
Limoncello is a famous Italian liqueur which is infused with lemon zest and sweetened with sugar. The addition of thyme to the recipe adds an underlying depth to this decadent drink. When ready store the Limoncello in the freezer and serve directly from there in shot glasses.
