Held in the carpark of the historic Jubilee Building on Parnell Road, the Parnell Farmers’ Market has been a favourite Saturday morning ritual for Aucklanders since 2007. Dozens of stallholders offer seasonal fruit and vegetables, free‑range meat, eggs, artisan breads, pastries, cheese, flowers, honey and ready‑to‑eat breakfast dishes. The market’s small size and friendly vibe make it easy to chat with growers and producers.
After browsing the stalls, visitors often relax with a coffee under the trees or wander down to the Parnell Rose Gardens. The market emphasises local, sustainable production and encourages shoppers to bring their own bags. Live music and community events add to the charm.
