Every Sunday morning the historic Barn at Claudelands Event Centre hosts the Hamilton Farmers Market. Local Waikato growers and artisan producers bring seasonal fruit and vegetables, meats, cheeses, honey, eggs, breads, coffee and flowers to this covered market. The spacious venue means the market runs in all weather, with live music and a friendly community atmosphere.
Visitors can enjoy hot breakfast dishes and freshly brewed coffee while browsing the stalls, chat with farmers about their produce and support sustainable, locally grown food. The market welcomes families and dogs on leads, and there is plenty of room for prams and wheelchairs.
