GB — Wales
Held on the first Friday of every month, the Welshpool Farmers’ Market brings local farmers and food producers together under the roof of the Town Hall. Shoppers browse stalls of organic lamb, pork and poultry, free‑range eggs, freshly baked bread and cakes, seasonal fruit and vegetables and handmade preserves.
The market is small but friendly, with many of the stallholders coming from farms around Powys and the Borderlands. It has even hosted royal visitors in the past. Buying direct from producers supports the local rural economy and ensures you take home the freshest Welsh produce.
