The Ayr Farmers’ Market brings the best of Ayrshire’s farms and producers to the Cutty Sark Centre on the first Saturday of each month. Expect tables laden with locally reared meats, smoked fish, seasonal fruit and vegetables, cheeses, jams, breads and home‑baking. Craftspeople also sell handmade soaps, candles and textiles.
Operating since 2000, the market is run by a cooperative of producers who value quality and provenance. It’s held in the heart of Ayr, making it easy to combine a market visit with shopping on the High Street or a walk along the River Ayr.
