Not many farmers markets can claim Royal patronage, but her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh have been to the Welshpool Farmers' Market. Held on the first Friday of the month, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., the market sells organic and locally produced meat and vegetables.
So, if you live in the area and want to source locally produced organic lamb, pork and chickens, free range eggs, along with seasonal vegetables nad fruits, make sure you visit the markets and help support the farmers and growers by buying direct.
