In its new location by the Waters of Leith in Stockbridge, Edinburgh, the Stockbridge Market is becoming the popular place for foodies. It has a great selection of organic and small holding meats, artisan breads and cakes, fish and poultry, eggs and vegetables. Additionally, you can grab yourself great coffee and cupcakes, crêpes and other snacks.

When we visited the market, we were pleased to see the great range of local meat and seafood. Also, there are local vegetables and cheeses and produce from Scotland and beyond, along with stalls selling freshly baked bread and cakes, jams, chutneys. It is a great foodie market to visit if you are local to the area, and being located in Stockbridge, you miss the maddening crowds of tourists.
