Seasons
July to most of us means a huge change on emphasis on how and what we eat. In the Northern hemisphere, Summer brings an abundance of ingredients with plenty of fresh herbs, salad leaves, berries, along with long days and plenty of BBQs. July, for our readers in the Southern Hemisphere, means plenty of winter root vegetables, citrus and orchard fruit. Cooler winter weathers makes for a great excuse to cook a traditional roast or stew or warming curry. Recipes page for great menu ideas in July, covering both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
As always, Sarah has updated her "June What to Eat Now" guide for those who are looking to get the most out of the seasonal ingredients. There are both Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere articles.
